Our partner PRO-PME has received our international experts over the last few months, within the framework of the EIB’s technical assistance. PRO-PME Financement S.A. is a credit institution specialized in loans to Small and Medium Enterprises in Cameroon. Active for some twenty years, Pro-PME cultivates proximity with its SME clients and supports them in terms of financing, and remains active in its credit activities despite the increased risks linked to the pandemic.
This EIB technical assistance mission is part of the EIB’s support to Financial Institutions in West and Central Africa, and allows many banks and MFIs to access EIB credit lines and a capacity building program. Our experts in Inclusive Finance continue to accompany the PRO-PME teams, among other things to consolidate their knowledge and enable them to effectively serve the SME segment, especially in this period of pandemic.
